Outdoor Yoga in Fruita, CO
The correlation between yoga and the water is brilliant!
Our brains and our bodies are evolved to position ourselves well to the water. Blue Mind refers to the mildly meditative sense that we have when we are in, on or near the water.
When humans become near to the water their breathing rate slows, heart rate slows and skin temperature cools - enabling their senses to shift to blue mind, preparing the body and the brain to calm down and get in the water.
Follow @BlueMindYogaCo for insight on the science of Blue Mind and how you can achieve peak well-being through the practice of yoga by the waters edge - beyond the asana.
Come practice Blue Mind Yoga at Imondi Wake Zone; inspired by Blue Mind and the yogic lifestyle.

Will began his journey as a yoga teacher nine years ago at Baltimore Yoga Village where he started his 200 hour yoga teacher training that he completed in 2012.
The first classes that he taught were very close to his heart because he taught classes to veterans (Will served in the Navy from 1987 to 1993). Will is proud to say that he started the first yoga class for individuals who struggle with PTSD. Following his time there, he and his friend, Wendy opened Earth Pulse Yoga in Hamilton, Maryland and they never looked back.
In the last few years, Will began teaching more yoga classes for businesses. He has brought wellness to people at TRowe Price, Johns Hopkins, and Loyola University. He has instructed a number of private students during that time as well.
Recently, Will has returned home to Colorado to support his parents and he is excited and pleased to be back in Grand Junction. He is looking forward to meeting a lot of new people and helping them with their wellness journey.
